KLEIN CEMETERY

Klein Cemetery is located in Summit Township Section 1 Township 76 Range 19. It is just across the road from 724 190th Street, about four miles west and 1 mile south of Pella. The parcel number is 2220300100. It is accessed through a field with two terraces 1/4 mile west and then north to a spot in the timber.

It is best to walk in to this cemetery, as the road is not good and vehicles will get stuck.

About  20 gravestones are present, all of early Dutch settlers, many Klein relatives.

Ryder Bates, a local Boy Scout, worked on the cemetery with members of his troop and received his Eagle Scout award.
